Terms & Conditions
By completing the registration process, students agree to all the terms listed below. Students also acknowledge that Heartbeat Es reserves the right to amend these terms, with or without notice. Additionally, students agree to release Heartbeat Essentials LLC DBA CPR Heart Essentials of all legal responsibility for personal injury or property damage that occurred while attending a course.
No course is considered reserved until registration is complete through our online portal and full payment is received. As of June 6th 2023 Students who register for a course through the American Heart Association website and complete payment for the course will be considered complete registration and enrolled in the class.
Cancellations and Refunds
No refunds will be granted. Students can reschedule for an alternate date within 60 days of the original course date for a $20 processing fee. Rescheduling requests must be made more than 24 hours in advance of a course. Students wishing to reschedule for an instructor course must provide 7 days notice and pay a $100 processing fee.
No Call, No Show
Any student that fails to notify CPR Heart Essentials of a cancellation or rescheduling request prior to the course, will be considered a no call, no show. Students arriving late to a course, without notice prior to the start time, will be considered a no call, no show. No refunds will be issued for a no call, no show. No exceptions will be made.
Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their course. No student will be allowed to enter the class room past the scheduled start time. Students who arrive late will forfeit their course registration fee and will be required to pay full price to reschedule to a later date.
Students who successfully complete an American Heart Association course will be awarded an eCard for the matching discipline. eCards are generally issued and made available the same business day, but please allow for up to two full business days to process. Also please ensure that you are providing an accurate email address to claim your eCards.
Email is the primary form of communication for information related to courses at CPR Heart Essentials. Please ensure that you have provided a valid email and added the @heartbeatessentials.us domain to your safe senders list. Students are responsible for regularly checking their email for course updates.
